Job summary

Ability Action Australia is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support participants across the Nowra region. You will manage a caseload, perform assessments, interpret findings, and deliver client-centred interventions to improve independence and wellbeing.

The role involves a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, ongoing professional development, and flexible scheduling to meet participant needs.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with AHPRA.
• Experience delivering therapy to diverse participant groups.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services.
• Assess participants’ functional abilities using clinical observations and standardised assessments.
• Interpret findings and formulate participant-specific treatment goals.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to improve independence and wellbeing.
• Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
