Job summary

MedHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support participants across the Nowra region, with CPD opportunities and a flexible work design. The role emphasizes delivering timely therapeutic services, multidisciplinary collaboration, and meaningful outcomes for people with disability in community settings.

You will manage caseloads, perform assessments, set individualized goals, and provide evidence-based interventions while staying compliant with current legislation.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapymembership with AHPRA
• Passionate about community‑based support for people with disability
• Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment
• Time management & organisational skills to manage varied caseload

Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
• Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
• Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
• Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
