Job summary

Encara is seeking a Community Occupational Therapist to deliver our Dementia Rehabilitation Program, helping clients live safely and independently at home. You will assess homes, set meaningful goals with families, and support daily activities with education and strategies.

Travel between client appointments is provided in a supportive team environment. You will work autonomously in community settings, collaborating with other allied health professionals while advancing dementia care and healthy

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence working independently in a community setting.
• An interest in dementia, cognitive rehabilitation and healthy ageing.
• Community, aged care or dementia experience is desirable; however, orientation and support will be provided.
• All applicants must possess or be willing to obtain a police check and NDIS Workers Screening Check.

The Role:

As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will:

You will be an Occupational Therapist who enjoys the autonomy and variety of community practice and is passionate about helping older people live well at home.

You Will Have
