We’re looking for a compassionate, motivated Community Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at the Adult Step-Up Step-Down residential service in Mackay on a casual basis.
As a Community Mental Health Practitioner, you will support adults experiencing mental health challenges to achieve their personal recovery goals. Working within a recovery-oriented and person-centred framework, you will empower people to build confidence, strengthen everyday living skills, enhance community connections, and work towards improved wellbeing
This role suits someone who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team and can provide flexible support across a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekdays, weekends, public holidays and sleepover shifts.
The Adult Step-Up Step-Down (ASUSD) is a short-term (up to 28 days) 24/7 residential service delivered in partnership with Queensland hospital networks and the local health service. It supports adults with a psychosocial disability to either transition from an acute hospital setting or prevent hospital admissions.
