We are seeking a compassionate and self-motivated Community Mental Health Practitioner who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of people experiencing mental health challenges. This fixed-term, full-time outreach role offers the opportunity to support clients, providing person-centred support in homes and community settings to help people achieve their recovery goals and build independence.
In this role, you will help people build confidence and skills for daily living, strengthen community connections, access supports and services, and improve their overall wellbeing.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the community. With no fixed office location, you will have the flexibility to complete administrative tasks from home when not supporting clients in the community. A fleet vehicle is provided to support travel throughout the region.
Mind Australia’s Outreach Psychosocial Services South Australia (OPSSA) provide person-centred psychosocial support to help people experiencing mental health challenges live independently and well in the community. The service supports people to achieve their recovery goals, build daily living skills and community connections, and transition to longer-term supports, including NDIS services where appropriate.
