Job summary

Sunshine Coast Council is seeking a Library Officer to deliver outstanding customer service and champion the full range of library services and programs at Maroochydore Library. You will support digital literacy initiatives, facilitate engaging programs, and help maintain vibrant library spaces that welcome diverse community members.

Qualifications

• Experience in library, information service or customer service environments.
• Certificate III in Library and Information Services or equivalent experience.
• Current Blue Card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and information assistance to library users.
• Facilitate library programs, events, literacy activities and learning sessions.
• Support access to digital resources, technology and online information services.
• Maintain library collections, displays and welcoming community spaces.
