Job summary

Eaglehawk Secondary College is seeking a Community Leader to foster a positive learning environment, manage student engagement and wellbeing, and oversee attendance within their learning community.

You will participate in whole-school decision-making with the Leadership Team, support teachers with student management and wellbeing, liaise with parents and external agencies, and help build leadership capacity across staff and students.

Qualifications

• Currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Qualified to teach and/or demonstrated experience in curriculum areas for the position.
• Lead teachers coordinate staff to improve teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive learning environment and oversee attendance within their learning community.
• Contribute to whole-school decision-making with the Leadership Team.
• Support teachers with student management, wellbeing and engagement, including behaviour and referrals.
• Liaise with parents, external agencies and college staff to support student outcomes.
