Job summary

Yorke and Northern Local Health Network is seeking an AHP2 Exercise Physiologist to deliver client-centred exercise physiology services in the community for clients with chronic conditions, working within a multidisciplinary team to plan, deliver and evaluate interventions.

The role offers part-time, temporary contract terms (up to 30 June 2027) with potential for supervision of less experienced staff and involvement in integrated care pathways.

Qualifications

• Qualified Exercise Physiologist with eligibility for professional association.
• Sound clinical knowledge and client-centred approach.
• Ability to contribute to a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-centred exercise physiology services tailored to individual needs.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate therapeutic interventions to improve health outcomes.
• Work with a diverse client group with chronic conditions in the community.
• Support hospital avoidance and early discharge when appropriate.
• May supervise less experienced allied health staff and students.
