Showtime Event Group is seeking a Community & Events Coordinator to drive activation and community engagement at Abbotsford Convent, coordinating sales, planning and delivery of events, and building partnerships with community groups and venue partners.

You will manage the full customer journey from initial enquiry to contracting, planning and post‑event follow‑up, ensuring a high standard of service and professionalism while contributing to the venue's long‑term commercial success.

The Community & Events Coordinator is responsible for driving venue activation, community engagement and commercial outcomes across Abbotsford Convent through the sales, planning and coordination of events.

Working at the intersection of sales, events, community and stakeholder engagement, this role builds strong and meaningful relationships with community groups, venue partners, committees, stakeholders, clients and suppliers to increase venue utilisation and deliver positive outcomes for Abbotsford Convent.

The role manages events across the full customer journey from initial enquiry and sales through to contracting, planning and post event follow-up ensuring every interaction reflects a high standard of customer service and professionalism.

As a key point of contact for clients the Community & Events Coordinator will proactively identify opportunities to activate the venue, grow repeat business, develop partnerships and contribute to the long-term commercial and community success of Abbotsford Convent.
