Job summary

Silverchain is seeking experienced Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our community care team in a permanent part-time 0.5 FTE or casual role on the Sunshine Coast.

You will deliver person-centred care in clients’ homes, maintain high clinical standards and collaborate with a supportive team. The role offers orientation, training and health and wellbeing resources, with opportunities for skill development and growth.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum two years post-graduate nursing experience, including Medication training HL TEN507 A/B/C.
• Aged Care / Community experience is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, time management and organisational skills.
• A passion for client-centred care.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in dynamic environments.
• A valid full Australian driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional person-centred care that empowers clients to thrive in their own homes.
• Advocate for clients and families, ensuring rights and wellbeing are supported.
• Educate and empower clients and carers to make informed decisions.
• Provide clinical support, including medication management, assessments and wound care.
• Work independently, while staying connected to a supportive team.
• Build meaningful relationships and communicate effectively with clients, families and health professionals to set goals and provide support.
