CDC Data Centres Pty is seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to support our campuses across metropolitan and regional Australia. You will be the on-the-ground liaison with residents, councils, Traditional Owners and stakeholders through planning, approvals and operations.

Apply IAP2 principles, run listening and two-way feedback, and feed insights into CDC’s engagement strategy. Travel to sites is required, and you must hold Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain NV1 security

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, social impact or external affairs.
• Experience delivering engagement for major projects in infrastructure, property, energy, utilities or other complex sectors.
• Practical command of engagement practice and frameworks such as the IAP2 spectrum, consultation, complaints handling and closed‑loop feedback.
• Understanding of the planning and approvals environment and how community sentiment affects development outcomes.
• Experience working with delivery partners and agencies to deliver local engagement.

Responsabilités

• Act as CDC’s local contact for host communities across metropolitan and regional areas.
• Run listening and two-way feedback using the IAP2 spectrum, with a closed-loop system that shows communities what changed.
• Gather community intelligence through engagement, local media and surveys and feed into can CDC’s sentiment view.
• Contribute frontline insight to CDC’s community engagement strategy and tools.
• Help build repeatable engagement and benefit-sharing approaches for new sites.
