Job summary

Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney – Atherton offers a casual Community Disability Support Worker role in the QLD community. You will support individuals with daily living activities, participate in community outings, and assist with meal prep and home-based supports.

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and encourage flexibility, especially weekend availability, with sleepover duties as needed. A focus on person-centred care and respectful engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• Criminal record check (essential or willing to obtain).
• Working with children’s check (essential or willing to obtain).
• NDIS Workers screening clearance (essential or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Accessing the community for shopping, appointments and day-to-day activities.
• Participation in a range of scheduled activities such as cooking, art, outdoor physical activities and excursions.
• Engagement in social events.
• Transportation assistance where required.
• Meal preparation and other simple in-home supports.
