Mission Australia is seeking passionate Case Workers to support individuals and families across Walgett, Lightning Ridge and Coonamble, focusing on homelessness, domestic violence, and housing stability. You will deliver person-centred case management, build connections with local services, and work within a values-driven organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in community services, homelessness, housing, domestic and family violence, youth, family or related sectors.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and case management skills.
• Compassionate, client-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current Driver Licence.
• Current First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strengths-based case management and support planning.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety planning.
• Help clients access housing, financial, legal, health and community services.
• Maintain accurate case notes and client records.
• Build positive relationships with stakeholders and referral partners.
• Ensure service delivery aligns with Mission Australia’s values and practice frameworks.
• Provide day-to-day operational leadership, supervision and guidance to staff.
