Job summary

Dementia and Aged Care Services (DACS) is seeking casual Community Support Assistants for Batemans Bay to help older Australians live independently at home. You will support clients aged 65+ with person-centred care, enabling engagement in their community and wellbeing.

Key duties include personal care, social support, meal prep, and accurate documentation. Successful applicants will hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or related field, with First Aid/CPR and a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Community Care (essential)
• Experience supporting older people in a community setting
• Strong time management and ability to work autonomously
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Approx. 20 hours per week availability
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Current Open Driver’s Licence
• Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• Smartphone
• National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
