Job summary

Downer Energy & Utilities seeks a site-based Stakeholder Engagement Lead for the Goyder North Wind Farm Connection project in Burra, SA. You will work with the project delivery team to lead community engagement activities, build trusted relationships, and help deliver positive outcomes for local communities throughout project delivery on an 18/10 roster.

The role is based in Adelaide or you can relocate, focusing on engaging landowners, councils and Traditional Owners with strong communication

Qualifications

• Experience in community and stakeholder engagement within infrastructure, energy, utilities or construction projects.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with landowners, communities, Traditional Owners, councils and stakeholders.
• Experience managing stakeholder enquiries, complaints and engagement records.
• Ability to identify risks, solve problems and provide practical engagement advice.
• Current driver’s licence.

The opportunity

Join Downer Energy & Utilities and play a key role on the Goyder North Wind Farm Connection project. Working closely with the project delivery team, you will lead community and stakeholder engagement activities, build trusted relationships and help deliver positive outcomes for local communities throughout project delivery.

This is a site-based opportunity in Burra, SA and will be working on an 18/10 roster. We are seeking applications from candidates based in Adelaide or willing to relocate.

What we're looking for

• Experience in community and stakeholder engagement, communications or social performance roles, ideally within infrastructure, energy, utilities or construction projects.


• Strong communication and relationship building skills with landowners, community members, Traditional Owners, councils and other stakeholders.


• Experience managing stakeholder enquiries, complaints and engagement records.


• The ability to identify risks, solve problems and provide practical engagement advice.


• A relevant tertiary qualification and current driver's licence.
