Job summary

AMP Recruitment is seeking experienced Communications Technicians for commercial office fit-out projects across Brisbane. The role involves installation, termination and testing of data cabling within busy office environments.

We require ACMA Open Cabling Registration, a Structured Cabling Endorsement, and reliable transport with own tools for independent or team work on ongoing projects with established electrical contractors.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial communications installations.
ACMA Open Cabling Registration.
Structured Cabling Endorsement.
Experience with data testing equipment (Fluke advantageous).
White Card.
Own tools and reliable transport.
Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

Installation and termination of Cat6/Cat6A data cabling
Data outlet installation, patch panels and communications racks
Cable tray, basket and conduit installation
Testing and certification of data cabling
Reading and interpreting drawings and cable schedules
Rough-in and fit-off of communications infrastructure
Working alongside electrical teams on commercial fit-outs
