Job summary

Easther Electrical is seeking an experienced Communications Technician to join our Illawarra-based team. You will deliver high-quality installations and programming solutions across commercial, government, education, health, aged care and hospitality projects.

You’ll work with a small crew of tradespeople and apprentices, installing data cabling, AV and security systems, and varying communications technology from start to finish. A current Australian Driver’s License is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with data cabling, including copper and fibre.
• Experience in AV and/or security systems.
• Security installation and programming experience – highly advantageous.
• A reliable, honest and professional approach to your work.
• Open Cabler Registration preferred, but not essential.
• A current Australian Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with small crews of tradespeople and apprentices to deliver high-quality projects safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Install, configure and program communications, security, access control, audio visual and wireless systems.
• Provide practical, professional solutions tailored to each client's requirements.
• Deliver quality outcomes across commercial, government, education, health, aged care and hospitality projects.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship, professionalism and customer service.
