Job summary

Vorwerk Australia Pty is seeking a hands-on Communications Lead to join the Marketing team in Melbourne. You will craft messages that inspire action, lead field campaigns, and translate complex business information into clear communication across a fast paced organisation.

You will bring proven internal communications experience, people leadership and a deep understanding of audience behaviour to influence engagement across the workforce and customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in internal communications, employee engagement or organisational communications.
• Previous people leadership or team management experience.
• Strong understanding of audience segmentation and behavioural drivers.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement communication strategies.

Communications Lead

We’re looking for a hands-on Communications Lead to join our Marketing team, who can bring communication strategies to life, influence large audiences, and create meaningful engagement across a dynamic and fast-paced organisation. This role combines strategic communications with marketing thinking, requiring someone who understands audience behaviour, how people consume information, and how to craft messages that inspire action.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communication strategies to our field.

About You

You are an experienced communications professional who understands that effective sales and marketing communication is about more than sharing information. You know how to capture attention, create understanding and influence behaviour.

You will bring:

• Proven experience in internal communications, employee engagement or organisational communications.
• Previous people leadership or team management experience.
• Strong understanding of audience segmentation, consumer behaviour and behavioural drivers.
• Demonstrated ability to develop communication strategies and successfully bring them to life.
• Experience influencing large and diverse workforces without direct authority.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence presenting, facilitating workshops and speaking to large audiences.
• Strong writing, storytelling and content development capabilities.
• A creative mindset with the ability to think differently and challenge traditional approaches.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Evidence of delivering communication initiatives that resulted in measurable engagement, behavioural or business outcomes.
• Agility and composure within a fast-paced environment.
