Job summary

Music NT in the Northern Territory is seeking a Communications and Engagement Coordinator who can lead our public communications, manage social media and digital channels, and support stakeholder engagement. You will tell the story of music's cultural and economic value across the NT, develop content for remote communities, and help grow our membership through proactive outreach.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in communications, marketing, PR, or a related field.
• Strong writing skills across social, web, media, reports, and promotional content.
• Experience managing digital channels and content calendars.
• Confidence engaging with diverse stakeholders from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
• Self-motivation and the ability to manage priorities in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Lead Music NT's brand voice, content strategy, and digital presence across social media, website, and e-newsletters.
• Engage proactively with media to raise Music NT and NT music industry awareness.
• Grow and maintain Music NT's membership through meaningful stakeholder engagement.
• Develop communications and marketing support for Music NT's programs and events.
• Capture stories and voices of artists and communities we work with.
• Contribute to planning, grant reporting, and internal communications as required.
