Job summary

Wesfarmers Health is seeking a Communications Coordinator to support internal and corporate communications across its expanding portfolio. You will partner with multiple business units to align messaging, develop campaigns, and engage team members through written, visual and video content.

The role offers exposure to events, conferences and internal programs, with a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in corporate affairs, communications or public relations including experience working with senior leaders

Responsibilities

• Partner with Wesfarmers Health business units to drive internal alignment with communication activities
• Own various communication tactics (e.g. intranet, weekly newsletter, digital screens, events)
• Create engaging written, visual and video content to support business initiatives, campaigns and team member engagement
• Own communications reporting
• Support conferences and forums and other internal communications projects
• Own communication administration
• Support media monitoring and administrative tasks as required

About the role:

The Communications Coordinator is responsible for executing our corporate and internal communications plan, supporting Wesfarmers Health’s growing portfolio of businesses.You’ll be responsible for communications channels that help drive engagement and connection with our team members.

You’ll also partner with business units to develop communications campaigns that leverage our communication tactics.Ultimately, your communications will help connect our Team Members to the Wesfarmers Health’s strategy and engage them in our transformation.

We’re looking for someone with a great attitude, exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to hone their communication skills in a hard-working (and fun!) team.

The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

Internal communication:

• Partner with Wesfarmers Health business units to drive internal alignment with communication activities
• Own various communication tactics (e.g. intranet, weekly newsletter, digital screens, events etc)
• Create engaging written, visual and video content to support business initiatives, campaigns and team member engagement
• Own communications reporting
• Support key internal communications tactics & projects such as conferences and forums
• Own communication administration
• Support other internal communications activities as required

Corporate communication:

• Provide support for media monitoring and administrative tasks as required

What you’ll bring:

We’re looking for someone with the right skills for this job. You may not have years of experience under your belt but what you do bring is a positive attitude, a love of storytelling in a variety of mediums, a great work ethic, exceptional attention to detail and most importantly, the willingness to learn.

Qualifications and experience

• 2+ years’ experience in corporate affairs, communications or public relations including experience working with senior leaders (or we’d consider exceptional recent graduates with the right skills)
• Bachelor Degree or higher in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or other related field
