Job summary

Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) is seeking a Communications Advisor for South Australia Medical Imaging (SAMI) to provide trusted communications advice and deliver strategies that support people, stakeholders and organisational priorities.

You will coordinate internal and external communications across websites, intranet, newsletters and social media, build relationships with SA Health and partners, and help create content that reflects SAMI’s brand and values.

• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience delivering end-to-end communications and engagement projects.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.

About the role

Join South Australia Medical Imaging (SAMI) as a Communications Advisor and use your expertise to connect people, strengthen engagement and bring important stories and initiatives to life. Reporting to the Manager, Communications and Engagement, you’ll provide trusted communications advice and help develop and deliver strategies that support SAMI’s people, stakeholders and organisational priorities.

You’ll coordinate engaging internal and external communications across websites, intranet, newsletters, bulletins and social media, while creating high-quality content aligned with SAMI’s brand and style. Building strong relationships across SAMI, SA Health and key partners, you’ll balance competing priorities, evaluate communication activities and identify opportunities for continuous improvement to deliver clear, consistent and meaningful communications.

You’re a skilled communications professional who combines strong stakeholder engagement with sound judgement and a collaborative approach. To be successful in this role, you will:
