Job summary

Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) seeks a SAMI Clinical Systems Support Officer to ensure smooth operation of medical imaging information systems. You will administer, monitor and educate users across facilities, contributing to system enhancements and data quality.

The role is site-based in Daw Park, SA, temporarily until 6 July 2027, with salary $82,212–$86,180 per year plus superannuation and salary sacrifice benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in system administration of clinical imaging information systems.
• Knowledge of RIS, PACS and related medical imaging workflows.
• Ability to train users and engage stakeholders effectively.

About the role

Join the SAMI Clinical Systems Support team in a rewarding role at the heart of medical imaging service delivery. As a SAMI Clinical Systems Support Officer, you will help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of vital medical imaging information systems through system administration, monitoring, maintenance and user education. Working closely with the Manager, SAMI Clinical Systems Support and the broader SAMI Support Team, you will provide practical, responsive support that helps clinicians and clients confidently use the systems they rely on every day.

This is a varied, site-based role with opportunities to support more than one medical imaging facility and contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of clinical systems. You will play an important part in maintaining high-quality system data collection and producing the information needed to support and improve medical imaging services. About You

You are a proactive and adaptable professional with strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, and a passion for supporting clinical systems and delivering positive outcomes.

• Self-directed and organised: Able to work autonomously, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
• Strong systems experience: Experience supporting system administration and computer applications, ideally including RIS, PACS and medical imaging technologies.
• Collaborative communicator: Builds positive relationships, communicates effectively and confidently supports training and stakeholder engagement.
• Solution-focused and knowledgeable: Understands medical imaging systems and workflows, with the ability to analyse issues and develop practical solutions.
