Qualifications

• HVAC fundamentals and systems knowledge desirable

• Experience with Building Automation / PLC / Process software programming
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer engagement and relationship skills
• Electrical Licence (Open or Restricted)

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a keen & self-motivated Building Automation Technician that's looking to develop themselves & try new things. Experience is preferred but not essential. Tasks will include conducting building automation breakdown calls, preventative maintenance & small project commissioning as well as working in with our digital service center to maximize the investments of our customers.

Commissioning Techs will work across several modalities in a team and solo capacity to

• Review design specifications, drawings, schedules
• Prepare/Review BMS scope review documents
• Interpret BMS engineering and commissioning
• Engage Subcontractors and vendors
• Material procurement
• Ongoing Project Reporting
• Deliver the relevant system, network and server upgrades
• Detail commissioning activities and reports

In order to be considered for this opportunity, the successful candidate will possess the following:

• Experience with HVAC fundamentals and systems (Siemens systems desirable)
• Knowledge and experience Building Automation systems (Siemens systems desirable)
• Proficiency with computers, networks and 3rd party software ( i.e. Microsoft )
• Experience with Building Automation / PLC / Process software programming
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• The ability to demonstrate strong customer engagement and relationship skills
• Electrical Licence (Open or Restricted)
