Job summary

Mars is seeking a Commissioning, Validation & Start-up (CVS) Lead to drive end-to-end commissioning for major capital investments at the Asquith site. You will coordinate with Regional and Site Engineers to ensure safe, on-time ramp-up within budget and high quality standards.

You will mentor SMEs, deliver hands-on training to operators, and ensure rigorous handover criteria and validation documentation are completed for reliable, high-performing factory operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading commissioning, qualification, validation, and ramp-up in FMCG, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, or advanced manufacturing.
• Engineering background or hands-on leadership of automated production lines.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to align cross-functional teams to delivery timelines.
• Proven ability to draft validation protocols and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end commissioning, qualification, validation, and start-up phases for major capital investment projects at the Asquith site.
• Follow the CVS Playbook and ensure SOP adherence across equipment.
• Manage CVS project budget with disciplined tracking and resource optimisation.
• Act as a trusted partner to the Value Stream Manager and enable cross-functional decision-making.
• Provide coaching and direction to SMEs supporting commissioning activities.
• Deliver classroom and hands-on training to upskill site operators and technicians.
• Establish robust handover criteria and complete milestone validation dossiers for handover to operations.
