Job summary

CE Group in the Rockhampton region is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join on-site for testing, commissioning and handover of electrical and instrumentation packages on a new gold mine tailings plant. This hands-on role requires coordinating energisation, functional testing and defect closure.

You will work with the project team across LV/MV/HV systems, PLC/SCADA interfaces, and field devices, with a 2:1 roster and opportunities to move to future CE Group projects.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in mining/mineral processing or heavy industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, energise, test and hand over instrumentation, control, LV, MV and HV systems.
• Manage commissioning documentation, test packs, punch lists and records.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with stakeholders to achieve safe completion.
