Job summary

Ayers Rock Resort in Yulara, NT is seeking a Commis Chef to live and work on-site. We are looking for a passionate individual with a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and at least 2 years post-apprenticeship experience in large kitchen teams.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years post apprenticeship experience in a large kitchen team
• A la carte and buffet experience is advantageous
• HACCP training is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Undertake all kitchen and service duties including cleaning, food preparation, basic cookery, organisation and guest service
• Effectively communicate with other members of the kitchen staff during preparation and service
• Multitask in a calm and orderly way while carrying out many different orders simultaneously
