Job summary

EVT Limited, located at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley, seeks a Commis Chef to support high-volume kitchens across Gather, Lovedale Brewbar and Conferencing. You will assist in preparing and presenting dishes, follow recipes, and help maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen.

The role offers teamwork, opportunities to learn, and a pathway to senior culinary roles within EVT’s hospitality network; candidates should be flexible to work across 7 days and have access to transport.

Qualifications

• Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of menu items.
• Support senior chefs in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Maintain high food quality and consistency.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Be flexible to work across all hotel kitchens.
• Own transport to site.
