Job summary

EVT is seeking casual and full-time Commis Chefs to join the hotel kitchen team across the restaurant, IRD and breakfast services at Rydges venues in NSW. You’ll contribute to delivering high-quality dishes while maintaining food safety standards and guest satisfaction.

We welcome applicants with 1+ years of kitchen experience in hotels or restaurants, a passion for cooking, and the ability to work AM and PM shifts. Training is provided, and you'll be part of a dynamic hospitality network.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a chef in hotels, restaurants or bistros.
• Experience on larder and fryer stations; training provided.
• Passion for cooking and working across AM/PM shifts.
• Strong food safety, hygiene and WHS knowledge.
• Excellent teamwork and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality food across restaurant, IRD and breakfast services.
• Maintain standards, food safety and guest experience.
• Assist across kitchen outlets as required.
• Work efficiently under pressure and follow kitchen procedures.
