Job summary

Sonder Consultants in Melbourne is seeking a 2–4 year PQE associate to join its Commercial Litigation practice. You will advise multinational corporates, financial institutions and major domestic and international clients on a broad range of complex disputes, including high-value litigation, shareholder disputes and regulatory investigations.

You will work closely with experienced partners on sophisticated mandates, developing strong client relationships in a fast-paced, cross-border environment

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' PQE at a leading Australian, UK, US or international law firm.
• Experience advising on commercial litigation, contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, regulatory investigations, or other complex contentious matters.
• Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience managing matters and building client relationships in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
• Commercial mindset and ability to work across multidisciplinary and cross-border teams.

Working as part of a highly regarded disputes team, you'll advise multinational corporates, financial institutions and major domestic and international clients on a broad range of complex commercial disputes. The role offers exposure to high-value litigation, shareholder disputes, regulatory investigations and other business-critical contentious matters, with the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners on sophisticated, market-leading mandates.

Requirements

• 2-4 years' PQE gained at a leading Australian, UK, U.S. or international law firm.
• Experience advising on commercial litigation, contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, regulatory investigations, financial services disputes or other complex contentious matters.
• Strong technical ability with excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience managing matters and building strong client relationships in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
• A commercial mindset and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary and cross-border teams.
