Job summary

Sonder Consultants in Sydney is working to place a Banking Litigation role with a leading law firm. You will advise financial institutions, corporates and sophisticated clients on a broad range of banking disputes and financial services matters.

You will join a respected disputes team, gaining exposure to high-value litigation, contentious regulatory matters, and contractual disputes, with the opportunity to work closely with partners and assume increasing responsibility for matters.

Qualifications

• 3 years' PQE gained at a leading Australian, UK or international law firm.
• Experience advising on banking litigation, financial services disputes, commercial litigation and/or contentious regulatory matters.
• Strong technical ability with excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience managing complex matters and multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, high-performing disputes team.

Working as part of a highly regarded disputes team, you'll advise financial institutions, corporates and other sophisticated clients on a broad range of complex banking and financial services disputes. The role offers exposure to high-value litigation, contentious regulatory matters, contractual disputes and other business-critical mandates, with the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners and take increasing responsibility for matters.
