Job summary

Cornerstone Commercial is seeking a Property Manager / Assistant Property Manager to support a fast-paced commercial real estate team. You will help manage portfolios, liaise with landlords/lessees, and provide day-to-day administrative support to the office.

The role emphasizes organisation, strong communication, and a proactive approach to ensure timely responses, accurate documentation, and smooth operation of property management processes.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with calm efficiency.
• Clear, confident communication and a client‑first mindset.
• Experience in commercial or residential property management (preferred but not essential).
• A proactive approach — you notice what needs doing and make it happen.
• Comfort working with CRM/property software and Microsoft Office.
• A team‑focused attitude with a willingness to support wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of commercial assets, including tenancy schedules, lease documentation, rent reviews and critical dates.
• Provide professional, timely responses, maintain strong relationships and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
• Log, track and follow up maintenance requests, liaise with trades, and ensure works meet compliance and safety standards.
• Assist with risk assessments, certificates, insurance updates and regulatory documentation.
• Prepare correspondence, update CRM and property systems, manage filing, invoicing, and monthly reporting packs.
• Support the team with reception duties, client greetings and maintaining a polished office environment.
