• Ability to work in a large project team.

• Budget & Cost Planning: Prepare detailed project cost plans and budgets across all development stages, ensuring accuracy and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Financial Control: Track budgets, commitments, and variations, and provide timely reporting to senior management on financial performance and risk exposure.
• Contract Management: Prepare and settle contractor final accounts, negotiate outcomes, and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Take on special commercial assignments as directed by senior leadership, contributing to strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Commercial Manager, Projects to join our Development & Project Management team in Melbourne. This role is critical to the successful commercial delivery of Crown’s Capital Works projects, with a large focus on Hospitality Fit Outs. You’ll bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and expertise in project controls and contractual practices. You’ll prepare and manage project budgets, negotiate with contractors, and implement innovative processes that make a real difference.
