Job summary

JPS Executive Search and Selection is engaged by a Gold Coast builder-developer to find an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function across its major multi-residential project pipeline.

Your first project is a $150M mixed-use development in Broadbeach and you will be the senior commercial lead, managing the CA/contracts team and taking ownership of procurement, contracts, forecasting, risk and overall commercial performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Commercial Manager experience on multi-residential projects $80M+.
• Strong CA background and contract management skills.
• Experience leading procurement strategy and subcontract negotiations.

This Gold Coast builder/developer is looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function across its pipeline of major multi-residential developments.
Your first project is a $150M mixed-use development in Broadbeach.
You’ll be the senior commercial lead on the project, managing the CA/contracts team and taking ownership of procurement, contracts, forecasting, risk and overall commercial performance.

The business is continuing to build out its internal delivery capability, with a strong pipeline of major developments concentrated around the Broadbeach area.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the commercial function across major multi-residential projects
• Manage and mentor CAs, Contracts Managers and QS support
• Own procurement strategy, trade letting and subcontract negotiations
• Maintain accurate cost-to-complete and forecast final cost reporting
• Manage contractual risk, variations, EOTs, claims and commercial exposure
• Provide senior management with a clear and reliable view of project performance
• Drive commercial systems, processes and accountability across the project team
