Job summary

Randstad is partnering with a respected developer-builder on the Gold Coast to recruit an experienced Commercial Manager. You will own commercial performance across the project pipeline and oversee all financial operations for high-end residential and luxury commercial developments.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will drive procurement strategies, contract negotiations, risk mitigation, budgeting and forecasting, and mentor the commercial team to deliver outstanding project

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Commercial Manager / Senior Contracts Manager in Australian construction.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, commercial risk, and contract administration.
• Experience managing multi‑million dollar budgets and commercial teams.
• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commerce, or equivalent.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial delivery of multiple residential apartment developments, ensuring strong financial and contractual outcomes.
• Drive procurement strategies, contract negotiations, subcontractor management, and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost reporting, claims, variations, and overall commercial performance.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to commercial team members, fostering accountability and excellence.
• Partner with project teams, consultants, and stakeholders to support successful project delivery and business objectives.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take ownership of commercial performance and oversee all financial operations across the project pipeline.

This position is ideal for an experienced Commercial Manager or an ambitious Senior Contracts Administrator/Senior Contracts Manager ready to step into a full commercial leadership role.
