Are Media Pty Limited seeks a commercially minded Management Accountant to join the Finance team. You will own full P&L for Affiliate revenue streams, and partner with Advertising, Subscriptions, Memberships and Direct Marketing to provide financial insights.

Reporting to the Finance Business Manager, you will handle month-end closes, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, supporting strategic decision-making across multiple revenue streams.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree and CA/CPA qualification.
• At least 3 years in management accounting or similar finance role.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

Responsabilités

• Management Accounting & Reporting: Own month-end reporting across allocated revenue streams and cost centres, including journals, accruals, variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year.
• Commercial Analysis & Business Partnering: Build relationships across Advertising, Affiliate, Subscriptions, Memberships and Marketing, providing financial insights and profitability analysis.
• Financial Controls & Reconciliations: Manage balance sheet and revenue reconciliations, support billing and ensure compliant reporting.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, reconciliations and billing processes.
