Job summary

Slabcorp Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Worker/Handyman to join our Banksmeadow, NSW team. This hands-on role covers a broad range of commercial building repair and finishing works, with an emphasis on quality finishes and independent work.

You will perform plasterboard repairs, painting, minor carpentry, plumbing maintenance and fixture installation, while conducting inspections to identify maintenance needs. A Construction White Card is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or handyman work.
• Plastering and patching skills.
• Painting and surface preparation experience.
• Carpentry and basic repairs knowledge.
• Experience with common hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• General commercial building maintenance and handyman works
• Plasterboard repairs and wall/ceiling finishing
• Interior and exterior painting and prep
• Minor carpentry and fixture repairs
• Basic plumbing maintenance where not requiring a licensed trade
• Install and replace fixtures and shelving
• Silicone sealing and finishing work
• Inspect sites and identify maintenance needs
