Job summary

Empire Group in Sydney CBD is seeking an ambitious, sharp-minded experienced litigator to join our Commercial Litigation team. You will work directly alongside a highly ranked partner and manage high-stakes, complex disputes for elite clients.

This role provides exposure to Australian Consumer Law matters and regulatory work, with mentorship of junior lawyers and a clear path toward leadership within a dynamic, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years pae in commercial litigation.
• Experience or an interest in consumer law sector is highly regarded but not mandatory.
• Strong drafting skills, sharp analytical logic, and a deep understanding of court processes.
• Leadership-aligned, collaborative approach with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex commercial litigation, multi‑party disputes, and regulatory matters under minimal supervision.
• Provide first-class advisory work on Australian Consumer Law and litigation strategy.
• Supervise, guide, and develop junior solicitors and paralegals within the practice group.
• Act as a direct, trusted point of contact for clients and foster strong relationships.
