Job summary

Burgess Paluch Legal Recruitment seeks a commercial litigation lawyer at the Senior Associate or Special Counsel level to closely contribute to two partners' practices with hands-on mentoring, client access, and direct communication.

The role involves a broad range of disputes, including Supreme Court of NSW and Federal jurisdictions, and spans complex commercial and insolvency matters for ASX-listed and private clients across NSW and Federal jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Senior Associate or Special Counsel level in commercial litigation.
• Experience in disputes in the Supreme Court of NSW and Federal jurisdictions.
• Ability to handle complex commercial and insolvency litigation across NSW and Federal jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Work on a broad range of commercial litigation matters including Supreme Court of NSW and Federal disputes.
• Represent ASX-listed and private companies, family offices, lenders, insolvency practitioners, directors and shareholders, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Early responsibility with mentoring and direct access to partners; client engagement across jurisdictions.

You will be a commercial litigation lawyer at the Senior Associate or Special Counsel level.

Your new role

Work on a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including disputes in the Supreme Court of NSW and Federal jurisdictions.

Your work will span complex commercial and insolvency litigation, property, and commercial matters across NSW and Federal jurisdictions — including major class actions, contested restructures, reputation matters and cross-border disputes. You will act for ASX-listed and private companies, family offices, lenders, insolvency practitioners, directors and shareholders, and high-net-worth individuals.
