Job summary

Pentana Stanton Lawyers seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate to join either their Melbourne CBD or Dandenong office. You will manage a varied caseload spanning shareholder disputes, debt recovery, professional negligence claims, defamation and corporate advisory matters.

The role requires an LLB/JD with Victorian PC and admission to SCV & HCA, plus two years of supervised legal practice. A hybrid model and competitive salary are offered to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• LLB or JD from an approved law school.
• Victorian Practising Certificate (PC) required.
• Admission to the Supreme Court of Victoria & High Court of Australia is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of commercial law matters, including shareholder, director and partnership disputes.
• Draft, negotiate and advocate in litigation and related proceedings.
• Provide strategic advice on corporate and business matters and represent clients in negotiations and tribunals.
