About the Role

As a Commercial Leading Hand, you'll be a key player in our diverse range of ongoing and upcoming projects across South Australia. We're looking for our next future supervisor—someone who brings their A-game, capable of handling complex projects, critical maintenance, precise minor demolition, and essential general labour support. What You Will Do

• Manage and integrate subcontractors, building strong relationships with clients, project teams, and suppliers.
• Implement and enforce rigorous safety protocols, including preparing documentation and conducting regular safety meetings.
• Interpret project documentation (drawings, specifications, contracts) to guide the team, ensure quality, and maintain compliance.
• Proactively identify and resolve site issues, manage defect rectification, and maintain accurate daily records.
• Lead and support the onsite team, fostering a collaborative, safety-conscious environment through continuous communication and performance review.

What You Will Bring

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in carpentry or a similar trade, including demolition and general site work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, with unwavering attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with all stakeholders.
• Valid Construction White Card and current Australian Driver's Licence, plus the ability to pass drug/alcohol and fit-for-work assessments.
• Ownership of standard trade tools (specialty tools provided).
• Australian Citizenship (eligible for DCSI/Defence clearances).

• Willingness to travel to regional South Australian sites (Generous Living Away from Home Allowance provided).
