Irwell Law is seeking a Commercial Lawyer to join our team in Australia. You will deliver clear, pragmatic legal advice across a wide range of commercial matters and support clients with day-to-day legal challenges.

• 3 yrs PQE with strong Commercial Law experience.
• A current unrestricted APC.
• Confidence advising on a broad range of commercial matters.
• The ability to communicate and break down complex legal queries into simple, concise advice.

• Providing sound, easily understandable advice to clients on topics such as buying and selling businesses.
• Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and supplier agreements.
• Handling commercial leases and property matters.
• Guidance on business structuring and corporate governance.
• Managing trademarks, IP and brand protection matters.
• Advising on privacy, data and technology matters.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Handling commercial disputes and debt recovery.
• Preparing deeds of release.

You will play a key role in supporting the success of the Irwell Law team by delivering clear, pragmatic, legal advice across a wide range of commercial matters.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thinking on their feet and helping clients navigate day to day legal challenges. You’ll provide practical, easy to understand advice across a wide range of commercial issues, supporting our clients when they need it the most.

What will you be doing?

Providing sound, easily understanding advise to our clients on topics such as:

• Buying and selling businesses
• Commercial contracts and supplier agreements
• Commercial leases and property matters
• Business structuring and corporate governance
• Trademarks, IP and brand protection
• Privacy, data and technology matters
• Regulatory compliance and risk management
• Commercial disputes and debt recovery
• Deeds of release
