Job summary

Irwell Law is seeking a Commercial Lawyer to join our modern, growth-minded firm in Sydney. You will advise on a broad range of commercial matters, deliver practical, clear guidance, and help clients navigate day-to-day legal challenges.

The role requires at least 3 years of PQE and an unrestricted APC. You’ll work across transactions, contracts, IP, privacy and governance while contributing to a supportive, balanced culture with opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• 3 yrs PQE with strong Commercial Law experience.
• A current unrestricted APC
• Confidence advising on a broad range of commercial matters
• The ability to communicate and break down complex legal queries into simple, concise advice.

With continued growth, we’re looking for Commercial Lawyer to join the team. You will play a key role in supporting the success of the Irwell Law team by delivering clear, pragmatic, legal advice across a wide range of commercial matters.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thinking on their feet and helping clients navigate day to day legal challenges. You’ll provide practical, easy to understand advice across a wide range of commercial issues, supporting our clients when they need it the most.

What will you be doing?

Providing sound, easily understanding advise to our clients on topics such as:

• Buying and selling businesses
• Commercial contracts and supplier agreements
• Commercial leases and property matters
• Business structuring and corporate governance
• Trademarks, IP and brand protection
• Privacy, data and technology matters
• Regulatory compliance and risk management
• Commercial disputes and debt recovery
• Deeds of release

What will you need?
