Job summary

Sharp & Carter's client, a large services business currently in growth mode, seeks a Commercial Finance Business Partner in Melbourne to sit at the centre of that growth. You’ll partner with divisional leadership and operations on pricing, cost to deliver and capital allocation decisions.

You’ll build commercial models and board-ready business cases and clearly articulate the margin impact of decisions. This is a broad, non-back-office role with no direct reports.

Qualifications

• Commercial finance or FP&A experience in a service-based business
• Track record building pricing, costing or business cases
• Advanced Excel modelling with ERP and BI experience
• Ability to influence operational managers and senior stakeholders
• Strong written and presentation skills (PowerPoint)
• Degree in accounting or finance; CA or CPA completed or underway

Responsibilities

• Build pricing and costing models to show margin drivers
• Prepare board-ready business cases for growth and capex
• Run scenario modelling with divisional leadership
• Own budget, forecast and three-way model including cashflow
• Deliver monthly board reporting with KPIs
• Enhance BI dashboards and automate reporting
