Job summary

Reo Group is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager in Sydney to lead end-to-end financial leadership across a divisional scope. Reporting to the Business GM with dotted line to the Group CFO, you will review P&Ls, provide insights, and challenge the business to drive growth through sales, cost optimisation and M&A.

The ideal candidate has FP&A or commercial finance experience, exceptional communication, and robust business acumen.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A or commercial/operational finance.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to influence decisions through financial insights.

Responsibilities

• Drive branch performance by setting business plans and monitoring performance.
• Evaluate M&A strategy and assist in target evaluation.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting across branches.
• Produce management reporting and variance analyses for head office.
• Track performance of acquisitions against earn-out targets and plans.
• Assess ad-hoc investments to improve profitability and challenge assumptions.
• Support integration of acquisition targets from operations and finance perspectives.
• Flag future performance concerns and close gaps proactively.
