Job summary

MPAU Finance in North Sydney seeks a Commercial Finance Manager to lead financial control, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic business partnering across a fast-growing international group.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will own the finance function, drive performance improvements, develop robust financial models, and mentor a high-performing team. CA/CPA qualification and multinational experience are preferred.

• Lead the end-to-end finance function, including financial reporting, compliance, tax, audit, treasury, and controls.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing meaningful insights to support business growth.
• Partner with senior leaders to influence commercial decisions and deliver strategic financial guidance.
• Develop accurate financial models, performance analysis, and management reporting to support key initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements, strengthening controls and improving operational efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering a collaborative culture.

Profile

What you'll bring:

• CA or CPA qualified, with a strong technical accounting foundation.
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or Senior Finance Business Partner role.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business partnering.
• Experience operating within a multinational, complex, or fast-paced environment.
• Commercially astute with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated leadership capability and a track record of driving continuous improvement.
