Job summary

Randstad is partnering with a National Commercial Builder in NSW to recruit an ambitious Estimator to join their estimating team. You will price projects from 500k to 30 million AUD and work with a high calibre team on mixed commercial builds.

The role favors candidates with 2–3 years of estimating experience for recognised builders in Australia, a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Building-related fields, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2/3 years working experience in estimating for a recognised builder in Australia.
• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Building-related field.
• Track record with winning projects valued over $2m.
• Well presented and an excellent communicator/negotiator.
• Thorough understanding of construction methods and tender submission.

Responsibilities

• Price projects from $500k to $30 million for mixed commercial builds.
• Collaborate with Senior Estimator and other estimators daily.
• Demonstrate high commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Ensure tender submissions meet standards and hand over tender strategy to relevant parties.
