Job summary

Buildability Group in Sydney’s Northern Beaches is seeking a Commercial Electrician for facilities maintenance across a range of commercial client sites. The role focuses on maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics and problem solving rather than pure project installation.

You will report to the Trade Manager and deliver high-quality electrical maintenance, repair and installation services, ensuring safety and compliance across client facilities.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Electrical Licence required.
• Previous commercial electrical experience required.
• Experience in maintenance, service or facilities environments.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic capability.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Completing preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Diagnosing electrical faults and completing repairs.
• Carrying out electrical inspections and testing.
• Installing and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.
• Reading electrical drawings, plans and specifications.
• Supporting minor project and upgrade works.
• Completing work orders, service reports and required documentation.
• Liaising with clients, site contacts and internal teams.
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with relevant standards.

Commercial Electrician - Facilities Maintenance - Northern Beaches
Sydney - Full-Time - $52-$54 per hour + Company Vehicle

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Commercial Electrician to join a leading Facilities Management and Building Services provider supporting a range of commercial client sites across the Northern Beaches, Sydney.

This role is ideal for an electrician who enjoys maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics and problem solving within commercial environments, rather than being focused solely on project installation work.

About the Role Reporting to the Trade Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical maintenance, repair and installation services across commercial facilities.

• Completing preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
• Diagnosing electrical faults and completing repairs
• Carrying out electrical inspections and testing

About You

We are seeking a qualified electrician with strong commercial maintenance experience and a proactive approach to problem solving.

You will ideally have:

• Strong fault finding and diagnostic capability
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
