Job summary

ACCIONA Infrastructure is seeking a Commercial Director or Senior Commercial Manager to lead commercial strategy across its Origination pipeline for Australia. You will guide bid teams on pricing, risk allocation and contract structuring from early opportunity through to submission and award.

Working with estimating, engineering and legal, you will shape the commercial position on major pursuits and represent ACCIONA in client and partner negotiations, influencing which projects we pursue and

Qualifications

• Degree in quantity surveying, law, commerce or engineering.
• Extensive experience leading commercial efforts on major infrastructure bids.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and JV structures.
• Strong understanding of risk allocation and tender pricing strategy.
• Experience in leading and developing commercial teams.

ACCIONA Infrastructure is growing its Origination team, driving the pursuit of major road, rail, water and energy projects across Australia. Our current pipeline spans some of the country's most complex and high-value infrastructure programs, from motorway and rail upgrades to water treatment and renewable energy assets. This role sits at the centre of that growth, shaping how ACCIONA prices, structures and wins new work. You will help build the commercial foundations for projects that will serve Australian communities for decades.

About Opportunity

As Commercial Director or Senior Commercial Manager, you will lead commercial strategy and structuring across ACCIONA's Origination pipeline. You will guide bid teams through pricing, risk allocation and contract structuring from early opportunity assessment through to submission and award. Working closely with estimating, engineering, legal and bid leadership, you will shape the commercial position on major pursuits and represent ACCIONA in client and partner negotiations. This role carries real influence over which projects we pursue and how we win them.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead commercial strategy across allocated bids and pursuits
• Structure pricing, risk allocation and contract terms
• Negotiate commercial terms with clients, partners and subcontractors
• Assess and mitigate commercial and contractual risk on tenders
• Partner with estimating and engineering to build competitive bids
• Manage joint venture, alliance and consortium commercial arrangements
• Mentor and develop commercial team members across Origination

Required Skills and Competencies

• Degree in quantity surveying, law, commerce or engineering
• Extensive experience in commercial leadership on major infrastructure bids
• Strong track record negotiating complex contracts and JV structures
