Job summary

Mylestones is seeking a Commercial Development Officer in Strathpine to support the operational performance of social enterprises and grow revenue for sustainable employment programs for people with disability.

You will coordinate commercial activities across multiple enterprises, manage client relationships and develop growth strategies balancing commercial and social outcomes, while ensuring safety and compliance. This role requires a business-focused mindset and relevant qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or sales with ability to secure new business and meet revenue targets.
• Ability to develop growth strategies balancing commercial and social outcomes.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, staff, stakeholders and partners.
• Relevant qualification in Business Studies.
• A valid C class driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate commercial activities for a portfolio of enterprises to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Manage customer relationships, stakeholders and business development to support growth and satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve growth targets and expand opportunities.
• Support preparation of quotations, proposals, contracts and partnership agreements.
• Identify and reduce workplace hazards to maintain a safe environment.

As a Commercial Coordinator, you will be supporting the operational performance and commercial growth of Mylestones Solutions' social enterprises. You will also focus on increasing revenue opportunities to create sustainable employment programs for people with disability.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Coordinating commercial activities of a portfolio of commercial enterprises, including printing, packing, resource library, and garden maintenance crews, ensuring efficient service delivery and operational performance.
• Managing customer relationships, stakeholders and business development to support growth and customer satisfaction.
• Developing and implementing strategies to achieve business growth targets and expand business opportunities.
• Supporting the preparation of quotations, proposals, contracts and partnership agreements.
• Identifying and reducing workplace hazards and risks to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
