MIXI Australia is seeking a commercially minded analyst passionate about using data to drive business performance and support strategic decision-making.

You will analyse business and customer data, identify trends and opportunities, develop insights, and contribute to initiatives that improve commercial outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must hold valid Australian work rights for full-time employment with no restrictions for at least 12 months.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Business Analyst, Growth Analyst or similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate insights from data.
• Hands-on experience using SQL for data extraction, analysis and reporting.
• Experience analysing business performance and providing recommendations based on findings.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience using business intelligence and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.

Responsabilités

• Analyse commercial, operational and customer data to identify trends, risks and growth opportunities.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business performance.
• Partner with stakeholders across multiple business functions to support data-driven decision-making.
• Build, maintain and enhance dashboards, reports and analytical models.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of business initiatives and measure outcomes.
• Prepare and present analytical findings to local and international stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting, analytics and business processes.
• Contribute to strategic projects aimed at improving business performance and customer outcomes.
